![]() ![]() I can just imagine the writers/game director/producers in the meeting room and someone throws out the idea: "You know, all these games, the main character is the pivotal lynchpin behind the plot. It's almost like it's intentionally hilariously linear, like it's just a parody of games that pretend to offer choice, when in reality there's just the straight line you have to follow anyways.įFXII I feel is an example of a concept or an idea overriding simple good storytelling. The AI move selection is usually pretty solid. I feel like I'm coordinating the fight instead of micromanaging it. I like swapping between paradigms as the main focus of combat while leaving most of the move selection up to the auto-battle most of the time. It's like the characters are all in on the fact that it's just a game and none of it matters, aside from throwing the occasional temper tantrum and then returning to normal a few minutes later. Like, people are dying left and right, bullets are flying, and everyone's just blasé and happy-go-lucky about it, with none of them reacting in an emotionally realistic way. The whole thing is written like a children's book, where they try to bludgeon you over the skull with every plot point to make sure you realize something just happened.Įverything has this weird fuzzy feeling spray-painted over serious shit going down. Hope, Snow, and Vanille are the worst, but the interactions of all the characters are nauseating. I hate the characters, just absolutely hate them. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban. On my first playthrough back when this first released on PS3 I basically had everything completed with 6-7 days remaining, but the timer simply being there still discourages exploration./r/Games is for informative and interesting gaming content and discussions. ![]() Not that it matters even if it wasn't the case but what about someone who has already been through the game multiple times? And the timer doesn't add challenge anyway. From a gameplay perspective it only serves to get in the way. It's pointless to cheat it, and very unnecessary. Or even if it just -sounds- like it might be a bother, like the timer on this game, which is really not a big deal at all. They just jump straight on to the cheats at the first sign of adversity. I realize that people play games for different reasons, but it bothers me personally when people won't even try. Not only that, but it's hard to imagine the game being any fun when you can't lose. Originalmente postado por Scarlet Crusade:It just makes people sad that enjoy challenge to have other people cheat the challenge away and prove that they have no skill. ![]()
